I don't know if I'm intimidated by other runners or what, but I've been a solo runner for the last 20 odd years. I finally have started running with a few folks--I'm really enjoying running with my friend Steph. After all this time...Wendy at Taking the Long Way Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09934786207724059919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1450866457385584358.post-55737918745949237802017-08-16T20:06:31.285-04:002017-08-16T20:06:31.285-04:00Thank you! Just wondering, was this an official group with a leader/contact person? If so, did you let him/her know what happened? I had a bad experience once and wanted to tell the group leader, but never did. I just never went back.AmyChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07037851599714423746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1450866457385584358.post-7832437079119702882017-08-16T09:21:34.572-04:002017-08-16T09:21:34.572-04:00Glad to hear your knee is doing better. That's tough sometimes. There's a running club I've been meaning to join here for years and somehow I never have. My bad. But, once, I ran with a group that was all FAST runners and I got lost because I couldn't keep up. And by the time I made it back to the start, they were all gone. UGH. I definitely agree with saying hi because you might meet someone who runs your pace and knows the route or that person might know someone who runs your pace and knows the route. Getting lost is no fun!! Glad you didn't get lost. :)Jennifer @ Fit Nanahttp://fitnana.comnoreply@blogger.com
